We were honored and thrilled to be included in two events recently that allowed us to share our skills in puppetry with kids. We love encouraging people to find their inner spark and learn to project themselves into another being.

We hosted a sock puppet building workshop at Unshame‘s Dare to Imagine on Oct. 11. The goal of the event was to encourage healing and health against bullying and domestic violence.

We then did the sock puppet workshop as well as puppetry mini training at Active Streets, Oct. 18. Active Streets Alliance hosts events in which streets are opened up and people are encouraged to try new things. We loved having people come by and pick up a puppet for the first time! We sent home several dozen sock puppets that kids and adults made at our station.
